A Thai Izakaya they call it. A newly minted Michelin badge. How does this Silom latest hip eatery live up to the hype?
The Vibe
Actually more casual looking decor than I was expecting. The downstairs is where the action is because it’s where you see the grilling and cooking taking place. Our table was upstairs where it’s very plain looking. Plain white walls, light coloured thin wooden tables and chairs, the decor of this area of the restaurant will most likely not excite anyone. If you can, get a table downstairs.

The Menu
There’s more to get excited about when you scan the QR to look at the menu on your phone. Starters include items that strike curiosity such as Doughnut with pork curry, and Coconut pancake and grilled shrimp with southern style curry sauce. But stars of the show, no doubt, are the skewers from the grill section. These are mostly all pork and chicken skewered items such as Aunglo’s Moo-Ping, Grilled chicken or pork belly with Pattani salt, or cashew nut sauce.
